About Yeti Investigations
Hello, my name is Mike Rowe, and I established Yeti Investigations in 2020 after serving the Beaverton community as a police officer for 25 years. I wanted to continue to help in my retirement and saw being a Private Investigator as a good way to continue to serve the community. During my time as a police officer, I held many positions and conducted involved criminal investigations. PI-ID 99712
Experience
- I bring you a total of 34 years of experience in all aspects of law enforcement.
- I was a patrol officer for seven years, conducting criminal investigations from thefts to homicides, and have interviewed thousands of individuals.
- I was a traffic officer and Crash Reconstructionist with the Washington County Crash Reconstruction Team (CART) for seven years. During this time I conducted complex investigations and reconstructions of motor vehicle crashes that resulted in serious injuries and death. I received my crash reconstruction training and certification from the Institute of Police Technology and Management.
- I served as a School Resource Officer for six years at Sunset High School. During this time I built my skills in working with youth and establishing a relationship that allowed me to be trusted. I conducted a number of Measure 11 investigations while assigned to the schools.
- I was a member of the Washington County Hostage Negotiations Team (HNT) for six years and was a lead negotiator. I have advanced training in crisis communication and the ability to reach people in a way that is comfortable and empathetic. People open up to me and I use these skills in my investigations as well.
- I was a firearms instructor for the Beaverton Police Department for thirteen years.
- I retired with my advanced certificate from the Board of Public Safety Standards and Training in good standing.
